Employment law practice group attorneys Jeff Worley and Ian Brinkman presented “COVID-19 and Employment Law: A Review of the Past Year and What to Expect Going Forward” on April 8. The two presenters discussed current topics including, the American Rescue Plan Act, OSHA enforcement under the new Biden Administration, and Pennsylvania specific regulations related to COVID-19 and businesses. The presentation also included a question and answer session with BCF Group business insurance professional Trent Hess on the topics of employer liability and workers compensation. The presenters concluded by discussing issues surrounding vaccinations, wage and hour considerations for a remote workforce, and requiring employees to return to the office.
