Ian R. Brinkman

Attorney

Ian is a member of the GKH Corporate Practice Group and practices in the areas of corporate, nonprofit and employment law, trademark law, real estate and business transactions, and individual and entity licensure and compliance issues.

Ian provides businesses with services that reach every aspect of a company’s lifecycle. He assists businesses and organizations with formation documents, trademark applications and maintenance, contract advice, and legal compliance.

Ian also helps nonprofit tax-exempt organizations apply for and maintain their status. He supports clients with transactional and governance advice, particularly during significant changes from formation to succession.

Prior to joining GKH, Ian wrote grant applications and led programs for several Harrisburg area nonprofits. As a law student, he led the Legal Intake Clinic at Bethesda Mission and also the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance clinic. He is a member of the Woolsack Honor Society and was awarded the 2019 Professor Louis Del Duca Memorial Award in Business Law. Ian also clerked as a law student intern with the Honorable Judge Sylvia H. Rambo of the United States Federal Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Ian lives in Middletown, Pennsylvania. He enjoys spending time in the outdoors, volunteering, and attending local events.
