Elder Law Resources: Avoiding Scams and Financial Exploitation of Seniors

Senior citizens can be frequent targets of consumer fraud and financial exploitation. GKH Elder law attorney Marci Miller and Detective Allen Leed of the Elder Victim Advocate’s Unit of the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office will co-present an overview of the Older Adults Protective Services Act, and provide tips for avoiding scams and financial exploitation of seniors. They will also discuss signs of financial exploitation, and legal options for victims. A light lunch is included.
