Lauren K. Hillegas
AttorneyLauren practices in the areas of litigation, real estate, and estate planning and administration.
In her estate planning practice, Lauren works with clients to develop an estate plan that is tailored to each individual client and their family, providing legal advice on how best to plan for the future while achieving their goals. She assists clients in the preparation of estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney and healthcare directives. She also guides clients through the estate administration and probate process.
In her real estate practice, Lauren serves commercial, industrial, and residential real estate clients in the acquisition, and sale of real estate, as well as landlord-tenant matters and lease agreements.
While in law school, Lauren interned for the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Insurance Fraud Section and for the Honorable Leonard G. Brown, III of the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas. She also assisted individuals and families obtain access to healthcare, immigration services, and public benefits through the Medical Legal Partnership Clinic. During law school, Lauren earned the Montgomery and MacRae Award for her achievements in the Wills, Trusts, and Estates course at Penn State Dickinson Law. Prior to law school, Lauren worked in marketing in the printing and publishing industry.
Lauren is a Lancaster County native and graduated from Penn Manor High School. She resides in Southern Lancaster County with her husband, and enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
