Attorney Marci Miller Presents on Powers of Attorney and Guardianships
Elder law attorney Marci Miller gave a presentation on special needs planning to the Friendship Community Family Support Fellowship on November 14, 2016. Her presentation was titled “Legal Tools To Plan for Today and the Future: The ABCs of Powers of Attorney and Guardianships in Pennsylvania.”
The presentation educated families of persons with developmental or intellectual disabilities about the legal options available to provide for the care and protection of their loved ones. Attorney Miller addressed some frequently asked questions and provided guidance for making informed decisions about planning for today and the future. She also discussed the newly enacted Pennsylvania ABLE Act.
