Corporate Attorney Jonna Stratton Presents for STEAM Team

Attorney Jonna StrattonAttorney Jonna Stratton served as presenter for the first STEAM Team program of the 2016-17 school year at Carter & MacRae Elementary School. STEAM Team is a special after-school program for fourth and fifth graders who are interested in exploring a variety of careers while learning about science, technology, engineering, arts and math.

Millersville University and STEAM Team invited GKH to participate in two career day sessions.  Attorney Stratton, together with Millersville University Professor Sharon Brusic, developed a problem-solving activity for Carter & MacRae students centered on trademark law. Attorney Stratton provided an introduction to trademarks and an overview of a legal career in trademark law. The students then designed a logo and slogan for STEAM Team, and attorney Stratton walked them through a simulated trademark application.

Attorney Stratton is a member of GKH’s Corporate and Organizations Practice Group. She handles the legal needs of businesses and nonprofit clients, including trademark law matters.
