On Saturday, March 8, GKH estate planning paralegal Jennifer Marcus and attorney Jolee Van Horn volunteered with the Wills for Heroes Foundation event at the Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center. The Wills for Heroes Foundation provides legal documents such as wills, living wills and powers of attorney at no cost for first responders. “Wills for Heroes was a remarkable event,” says Jolee. “First responders and their significant others were afforded the opportunity to get a will drafted and obtain power of attorney documents for no fee. It was an amazing opportunity to try and give something back to the people who risk their lives every day for public service.” Attorney Van Horn helped prepare documents, while paralegal Marcus served as notary. GKH litigation paralegal Susan Clarke helped coordinate volunteers for the event.
