Ryan practices in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Estate Administration.
As part of the firm’s Estate Planning and Administration practice area, Ryan works with clients to implement comprehensive estate plans that address their needs and goals, including the preparation of wills, trusts, financial powers of attorney, and living wills/health care powers of attorney. In addition, Ryan represents executors and trustees, helping them properly and efficiently administer estates and trusts.
Ryan is also a member of the firm’s Elder Law Practice Group. GKH’s Elder Law Group counsels clients and their families about issues affecting older persons and their families, including long-term care and special needs planning, asset preservation, Medicaid eligibility and admission into nursing homes and continuing care retirement communities.
Prior to transitioning to the role of Associate attorney, Ryan worked as an Elder Law Paralegal while attending law school. While in law school, Ryan was awarded the ALI CLE Scholarship & Leadership Award and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Estate Planning, served as an Academic Success Fellow, and participated as a member of the Trial Advocacy Honor Society.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time outside cycling, running, hiking, camping, and fishing, or inside cooking, reading, and listening to music. Ryan and his wife live in Lebanon with their two dogs.
