Michele practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, disability and special needs planning, and elder law. She assists individuals and their families in the preparation of estate planning documents, consideration of guardianships and long-term care planning issues, and represents executors and trustees in administering estates and trusts efficiently.
She also practices in the firm’s Advocacy group, representing clients as a part of the firm’s Civil Litigation practice and assists local businesses and individuals in the management of zoning and land use matters.
Prior to joining GKH, Michele served for two years as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Robert J. Eby in the Court of Common Pleas. She spent the previous 20 years after law school leading the legal and asset management consulting teams of a global intellectual property and analytics organization, where she became six-sigma certified and founded a global employee resource group for women.
While in law school, Michele worked at a large civil defense law firm and enjoyed volunteering at the National Center for Juvenile Justice, Legal Aid for Children, the Public Defender’s Office of Allegheny County, and Laurel Legal Services. She was a contributing writer and the Associate Production Editor of Duquesne Law School’s student-run ABA award-winning legal news publication, Juris.
She resides in Manheim Township with her family and enjoys reading, playing the piano, tennis and travel. She has served on several Lancaster area boards, including CASA of Lancaster and Lebanon County, and participates in Wills for Heroes.
